Employee Seniority parameters are set up in Settings>All Settings>General.
Employee Seniority Type: Set how you want to determine employee seniority in Employee Seniority Rank. There are 3 options:
- Rank: Selecting Rank in the dropdown will cause another field, Employee Seniority Rank, to appear under Employee Seniority Type. In this new field, enter one option per line, in order of importance. These options will become available for selection in employees' Employment Settings (Employee>Employment>Employment Settings). You can filter for Seniority rank in the Employee Finder for visits, recurrences, etc.
- Number: When you select Number as a seniority type, you can sort numerically on seniority in the Employee Finder - from greatest to least or conversely. In employees' Employment Settings, you will enter a number into a text field for their Seniority.
- Date: When you select Date as a seniority type, you can sort numerically on seniority in the Employee Finder - from most recent to least or conversely. In employees' Employment Settings, you will pick a date from a date picker for their Seniority.
