When reviewing billing today it appears there are several missed items from a certain system. I have attached a screen shot of BIM when I know there was a nursing case management visit for a specific client (let's call them AlayaCare ID: AC000000001) and employee (let's call them AlayaCare ID: AC000000022) on a specific date (let's call it 2/27) for a specific duration (let's say 2 hours). However, this visit is not showing in BIM, although it is showing in approved and rejected visits in visit verification. Other visits on 2/27 and 2/28 are showing in BIM and visit verification has been completed for those days."
Answer
This seems to be due to the tiered rate configuration of the visit's bill code.
Please see attached config of Bill Code "Bill code name" - since the tiered rate setup only covers billing quantities up to 60 mins (i.e. 1 hour), when the visit is approved to be billed for 2 hours,
AlayaCare could not recognise an eligible rate with this Bill Code and hence did not generate a Billable item for the visit.
To resolve this, you can 1. add another tier rate that covers the 120 minute mark, or 2. if you wish to bill any visits that exceed the 1 hour mark at $60, remove the End Minute from the last tier rate. Click "Generate" in BIM again and you should see an item generate for the visit.
