You can add new Medications to a Client's profile along with Medication Administrations from the mobile app.
View All Medications and Details of a Medication
- In a Visit, or in Caseload>Client Profile, swipe left to Medication.
- The listed Medications are filterable by Status (Active, On Hold, Completed, Discontinued). By default, only Active Medications are displayed.
Each Medication appears in format Name of medication (dose).
The time stamp of the last administration (if there was one) is displayed under the Medication name, along with the Time Instruction.
If the Medication is High Alert, it will be indicated by the icon.
The total number of administrations to present is expressed in the label. - Tap on a Medication to view more details. The arrow opens each section.
Add a Medication
- In Medication, tap
- Complete the applicable information and tap Save. Any Field marked with a red asterisk * is mandatory.
- The Medication profile will be stamped with your name and the date and time of entry.
Edit a Medication
- Click on the icon beside the Medication.
- In the resulting screen, make any necessary edits. Greyed out fields are not editable. If edits are required for those fields, recommended practice is to create a new Medication.
- Submit.
Administer a Medication
- Inside a Medication, tap Administrations.
- Tap
- In the resulting screen, complete the Administration fields.
- Submit.
- The Medication profile will be stamped with your name and the date and time of entry.
