Step 3. Select PROCESS on the desired Referral.
Step 4. If a client in the system matches the referral select 'Choose'. If not select 'New Client and Service'
There are three Referral Types. A new referral, a frequency update or a general update. The display as seen above will break down referrals that match an existing client profile within the system. Matches will be based on three factors. A match will be triggered by an existing client's Health Card Number, Client ID or First and Last name. If no matches are displayed above this is a new referral and you will select 'New Client and Service'.
Step 5. If the referral is applicable to an already existing service select 'Choose' and then Submit. If not select 'New Service'.
CYOA uses “Service Assignment ID” as well as the BRN to find any matches between the referral content and the existing services on a client. If the data matches, they will display in green. If there is a mismatch between the client profile and the referral, the mismatched fields will display in red.
