How do I put a Visit On Hold or take it off Hold on web?

When a Visit is put On Hold in the schedule, it is no longer billable or payable, and Employees cannot clock into it. A Visit may be put On Hold automatically when its Service is put On Hold, or the Visit can be put On Hold independently of its Service.

Putting a Visit On Hold

  1. After opening a Visit from a schedule, select Hold in the Information tab.

  2. Select the appropriate Status Reason from the dropdown list. Note that On Hold Reasons are configurable and reportable.

  3. Click Save.

Edit the Status Reason of a Visit

You can return into the Visit and change the Status Reason if necessary.

  1. Navigate to Visit>Accounting and choose a different Status Reason from the list.

  2. Click Update Visit.

Take a Visit Off Hold

To take the Visit off Hold, you must remove the Status Reason. It may be necessary to generate a new invoice to bill for the Visit or re-run Payroll so the Employee will be paid for the visit.

  1. Navigate to Visit>Accounting and change the On Hold Reason back to Not Set

  2. Click Update Visit.

Viewing On Hold Visits

  1. In any calendar, the Visit tile will appear as grey for an On Hold Visit, with the  icon.

warning.jpg If the Visit is approved, it will appear in green, though the  icon will remain.

  2. In Visit>Information, the Visit is identified as On Hold and the Status Reason is indicated.

  3. In any Visit Approval list, the Client name will appear in grey with the  icon.

  4. Hover over the  icon to see the Status Reason

  5. You can filter for all Cancelled/On Hold Visits

That's great, how do you take off the Hold? I would assume there is a simpler way, then having to delete it and reschedule once it's been put on hold, but there is no clear path.

Same question, is there a simpler way then having to delete it and reschedule once it is taken off hold?
