How do I create Employment Types?

Employment Types can be created in Accounting Settings and used to determine which types are eligible holiday pay.  Once you have created Employment Types, you can set Employment Types for individual Employees in Employment>Employment Settings on the Employee profile. 

Set up Employment Types

  1. You can access configured Employment Types in Accounting>Accounting Settings>Employment Types.



  2. Click +New Employment Type.

     

  3. In the resulting dialogue, enter a Name. 

    Eligible For Holiday Pay: checking this option will make any Employees of this type eligible for holiday pay.



  4. Click Save.

Edit an Employment Type

Click Edit for an Employment Type.

Delete an Employment Type

Click Delete for an Employment Type.
