If a scheduled Visit does not have a designated Employee, you can assign an Employee to the Visit directly.
To begin, navigate to a Vacant Visit on any schedule page (a Client's individual Schedule, your Client or Employee Daily Schedule, or Client Scheduling on a Facility profile). Vacant Visits will be displayed in red.
Click on the Visit and select More Details.
You can also access a list of Vacant Visits from the Workforce Management page. Go to Scheduling>Workforce Management and click on the Vacant Visits tab. Click View on the Visit you wish to assign.
In the Visit dialogue, click the Edit tab.
If you know the Employee to whom you wish to assign the Visit, you can start typing their name in the Assign to Employee field and select the correct Employee.
You can also click the Find Employee button to use the Employee Finder to help you find the best fit for the Visit.
Once you have opened the Employee Finder, you can choose to select different filters, turn on Display Travel Time, and switch between the Metrics and Calendar tabs to help you find the right Employee to assign the Visit to.
When you have found the right Employee, click Choose. Then click Save.
Once you have selected an Employee, click Update Visit to add the Employee to the Visit in the system.
You can also assign an Employee to a Visit by clicking the Replace button under the Information tab.
Choose which criteria to use as filters and then click Choose to select an Employee.
Enter any comments you wish to include and then click Save.
