Sometimes a back-office Employee may need to help care providers in the field clock out, such as when the field worker is having technical difficulties. In these situations, you can use the web app to clock care workers out from Visits that should have already ended.

Identifying Clocked-in Visits

You can check for any clocked-in Visits by using the Attendance Dashboard.

Additionally, in Dashboard>Visit reports, or Client Profile>Client Reports>Visit Reports, for any Visit Reports where the End Times are marked Open, the Visit is still clocked in.

Once you have identified the Visit that you need to clock out of, go to the Scheduling tab on the Client profile and look for a light green Visit tile. This color indicates that the Visit is still open.

After clicking the green Visit tile, click More Details to open the Visit Dialogue. Then click Clock Out

Alternatively, click Edit next to (Open Shift) to change the End Time manually.

Select an End Time from the dropdown and then click Save. You can also select whether or not you wish to approve the Visit with this time.

Note that the work session will be logged against the back-office Employee who is clocking out of the Visit on web rather than the care worker in the field. However, the Employee assigned to the Visit will still be paid for the Visit

Please note that when visit verification is enabled, you cannot edit clock time in the visit screen. Clock time in this case can only be edited within the visit verification process.
