An employee's clock-in data appears to be incorrectly assigned to another employee, and the correct employee's punches are not visible in the revisions.
Solution:
1. Verify the issue
- Confirm the details of the incorrect and correct employee IDs along with the visit ID.
- Check the system for discrepancies between the scheduled employee and the employee who actually clocked in.
2. Access the visit revisions
- Navigate to the visit record in question.
- Click on the Information tab, then locate and click on View Revisions.
3. Review punches
- In the Row View under Revisions, match the clock-in time with the employee assigned to that visit.
- Ensure that you’re looking at the correct date and visit ID.
4. Check revision details
- Verify if the revision shows the clock-in time correctly associated with the scheduled employee.
- If the correct punches are not visible, ensure that all relevant revisions have been properly saved and updated.
5. Compare data
- If there are discrepancies, compare the data with the initial scheduled times and the actual clock-in times.
- Look for any system errors or issues that might have caused the punch to be assigned incorrectly.
