Issue:
Some caregivers may receive an alert on their AlayaCare Worker Mobile app stating, "Account Set Up needed: your password may be expired or further account set up is required," despite no password expiration interval being set.
Solution:
1. Keycloak and password strengthening rollout
If you have been rolled out to a new Keycloak and Password Strengthening system, the system may prompt password resets, even if the expiration interval is set to 0 days.
2. Password expiration at one year
Keycloak enforces a password reset approximately one year after the previous password change, which may be why caregivers are being prompted to update their passwords.
3. Impact on other users
Web app users are also likely to receive similar password reset prompts. The issue isn't limited to the mobile app.
Note:
No immediate action needs to be taken, but staff can reset their passwords in response to these prompts.
