Issue:
You have added the Employee Locate feature to your environment but are unable to see it in both staging and production environments.
Solution:
1. Enable Employee Locate feature
- Use your admin credentials to log in to both the staging and production environments in AlayaCare.
- Go to the Settings section and find the Feature Flags or Feature Management area.
- Ensure that the Employee Locate feature flag is turned on in both environments.
- Save any changes made to the feature flags.
2. Verify permissions
- Ensure that the necessary roles and permissions are assigned to users who need access to the Employee Locate feature.
3. Refresh the application
- Refresh the application to test to see if the Employee Locate feature is now visible.
4. Access the feature
- The Employee Locate feature is available through AlayaCare Integration (ACI). Use the following URL to access it: https://csc.acintegrations.ca.
5. Locate the feature
- Navigate to the Employees menu.
- Use the autocomplete form to find the employee.
- Set the date (it defaults to today).
- Click Show Map to view the employee's location.
Note:
The view provided by the Employee Locate feature does not change any data in AlayaCare, so it can be used in both staging and production environments without affecting the data.
