Issue:
Caregivers may encounter a "403: You do not have the required permission to perform this action" error when trying to log into the app for the first time, even after changing their password.
Key Points:
Ensure that the employee logging in has the correct role and permissions assigned in their account. Incorrect or missing roles and permissions may prevent access and cause this error.
Solution:
1. Log in to AlayaCare
- Use your admin credentials to log in to AlayaCare.
2. Navigate to User Management
- Go to the Settings section and find the User Management or Users area.
3. Select the caregiver's profile
- Find and select the profile of the caregiver experiencing the 403 error.
4. Check assigned roles
- Ensure that the caregiver has the appropriate role assigned. If not, assign the correct role.
5. Verify permissions
- Check the permissions associated with the caregiver's role. Ensure that the necessary permissions are granted for the actions they are trying to perform.
6. Save changes
- Save any changes made to the caregiver's role or permissions.
7. Inform the caregiver
- Notify the caregiver to log out and log back in to see if the issue is resolved.
