AlayaCare Cloud is a robust, comprehensive, and highly extensible platform. Staying updated on new features and enhancements is important to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and outcomes.
Prepare for monthly releases
AlayaCare currently has a monthly release cadence. This structure aims to ensure platform stability and predictability. To stay current on the latest release:
1. Designate an employee or employees to receive and review release notes.
2. Subscribe to release notes email notifications (and any subsequent revisions) by going to the Release Notes section and selecting Follow > New articles and comments.
3. Read the release notes. Contact your Customer Success representative if you have questions about the upcoming release.
4. Attend AlayaCare-hosted webinars for in-depth explanations and to ask questions on the spot.
5. Test the changes in your User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment within 7-10 days of receiving the release notes to ensure understanding and that the releases work well in your production environment.
6. Be prepared to adapt workflows and processes as new features are introduced with each release.
7. If you have an idea to share with our product team, you may do so from the AlayaCare Community.
For more information about preparing for a release, please refer to Release Readiness.
Get support
Should you see any issues while you are testing in UAT, please create a support ticket so we can assist. Our approach:
- Whenever possible, when contacting you, a Customer Success team member will highlight items that may be particularly relevant to you and your business.
- AlayaCare closely monitors system performance and promptly responds to release issues. Please refer to our SLAs.
Level up
To fully engage with enhancements, ensure your level 1 support team member has reviewed these support resources and has created time to test the release content.
The next step is to ensure an assigned team member translates this valuable release information into actionable information for your business. These action items may include and are not limited to the following:
- Identify what may need to change in the business or by role to use the functionality. Super users across the business may need to be leveraged for accuracy and thoroughness, such as Inservice Director(s) – Clinical/Financial.
- Identify and communicate upcoming dates in advance, just before and as changes happen.
- Update documentation on internal business processes to include new release functionality.
- Conduct training, in general or by role, to ensure an understanding of changes and the next steps.
- Follow up and check in with your team on how changes are going and to ensure adoption.
Long-term roadmap
In addition to monthly release notes, we always look ahead to ensure you receive ongoing benefits from our enhancements. To learn about our long-term vision and to share your valuable insights directly with our product and engineering teams:
- Attend our annual Better Outcomes user conference to look at the year ahead, presented by our Chief Product and Technology Officer.
- Sign up to be a Product Partner, where we will invite you to provide insights and feedback on what we are working on next, where applicable.
