This July release contains many improvements and new features:
- Employee Availability metric is back in the Employee Finder!
- Revamp of the Employee Availability & Unavailability
- Default filters for the Facility Finder
- Navigate through weeks in the Facility Finder
- Addition of Availability & Unavailability for Facilities
- ... and many more!
Important Note: Following this release, availabilities and unavailabilities will now be projected in the same way that visits are. For this reason, on the day of the release, availabilities and unavailabilities older than 3 months will no longer be displayed, as we will be projecting them only for the previous 3 months and forward. This said, all newly projected availabilties & unavailabilities will be visible.
Note that in the hour following the release, while we are running these projections, you might see slight inaccuracies in the Employee Finder and Availability metric. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Employee Availability Metric
This metric has been reintroduced into the Employee Finder. It allows schedulers to see an employee's availability at a glance when scheduling a visit or recurrence. To determine if an employee is available, the system uses the following items:
- Employee default availability setting
- Visits (excluding On Hold and Cancelled visits)
- Employee Availability & Unavailability
The result of this calculation is shown as such, for a 10-day recurrence:
Note that for performance reasons, the Availability column cannot be sorted and there is no associated filter.

Employee Availability and Unavailability revamped
The employee availability and unavailability have gone through a makeover to provide a better user experience and more functionalities.
Both pages and dialogs now have a refreshed look, with functionalities such as:
- Ability to view revisions
- Ability to discontinue: sets the end date to today, or deletes availabilities/unavailabilities starting in the future
Facility Availability and Unavailability
You can now set availabilities and unavailabilities for facilities, as seen on employee profiles.
Firstly, you can set a tenant wide default availability for all your facilities by going to Settings>General>Scheduling>Default Facility Availability
This can also be overwritten at the facility level, using Facility>Coordination>Facility Settings>
Availabilities/Unavailabilities set for a facility will be shown on the calendar in both the Employee Scheduling and Client Scheduling tabs, allowing schedulers to visualize opening hours of a clinic for example.
Important: Adding an unavailability to a facility will not set overlapping visits to vacant. This functionality will be added in an upcoming release.
Navigate through days/weeks on the Facility Finder Calendar
You will now be able to navigate through days and weeks on the Facility Finder calendar, to find other availabilities. Using the arrows, view employee schedules for previous or future days. You can also use the calendar widget to go directly to a day of interest.
The current visit represented by the orange tiles (see below) will be shown on the days selected in the visit dialog. Navigating will not allow you to change the day selection on the visit dialog, only view the schedules.
Important: With the introduction of this new feature, the calendar will now show weeks starting from the 'First day of the week' setting set for all calendars.
The complex recurrence feature is maintained.
Select your default filters on the Facility Finder
You can now set which filters to enable by default on the Facility Finder. In Settings>System Settings>Scheduling, simply check the filters you would like to see
New Icon for Travel Time overlap
An improvement has been made to the employee finder. When travel time overlaps with the previous visit, an icon with hover is shown to indicate this to the user, in addition to the time being shown in red.
Reintroduced "Service Provided to" column in the Billing Period>Invoice Tab
Clients using the Funder individual model will now be able to view client names without having to view each visit individually.
When adding a funder to a billing cycle, the funder dropdown will now indicate which funders are disabled via a '(disabled)' tag next to their name.
Remove client specific rate
You can now remove a special rate via a new clear button. Upon confirming, all special rates for this client and bill code, with an effective date of today or later, will be deleted. After clearing a special rate, the rate will now default back to the rate of the related bill code.
Payment Method added to the Client Balance & Transaction List
Note: To activate the column select the “3 dots”
Cannot enter an invoice item amount for a credit note that is larger than the invoice item balance
Note: when selecting the amount, it will display a message displaying the max amount
When entering an amount that is greater than the Max Amount, a message is displayed:
Billing Cycle / Payroll Periods: No longer able to set an end date that is prior to the start date
Wound treatment options
Added a new 'Healthy' periwound option, as well as 'Hypersensitive' skin sensation option.
