How do I set up/edit Status Reasons?

A Status Reason is set when a Visit, Client, or Service is put On Hold or a Client or Service is Discharged.

warning.jpg Unlike Cancelled Visits, On Hold Visits are never billable or payable.

Status Reasons are reportable in Data Exploration.

Set Up a Service Status Reason

  1. To view existing Status Reasons, go to Accounting>Accounting Settings>Status Reasons. 



  2. Click the  to filter by Status Type (On HoldDischarged) and Leave Type. You can search by Code or Description. 


  3. Click +New Status Reason.



  4. Select a Status Type, a Code, and a Description. Optionally, select a Leave Type

    warning.jpg Leave Types are hard-coded (meaning they cannot be user-configured). They are only an option for Status Type On Hold.



  5. Click Save.

Edit a Status Reason

Click Edit for the Reason you wish edit.
