Optimization in the Employee Finder
We are excited to launch our Schedule Optimization Beta Feature in the Employee Finder for Visits and Recurrences. If you are interested in piloting this feature, please contact your Client Success Manager. Note that Optimization is not available in multi-office.
The Optimize tab allows the user to set parameters to find an optimal Employee, Time, and even Day for a Visit or Recurrence, since the user can set preferred days of the week or intervals of time.

Visit Accounting Tab Editing
Visit>Accounting, with some slight differences between Recurrences and single Visits.
When making a change to Visit>Accounting for a Visit in a Recurrence, it is now possible to choose for the change to be carried through to subsequent Visits.
This means that changes to the following fields on a Visit can now be carried through to subsequent Visits in the same Recurrence:
- Bill Code
- Pay Code (Regular) and Pay Code (Overtime)
- Pay Rate (Regular) and Pay Rate (Overtime)
- Employee Cost Centre and Client Cost Centre
Note that Cancelled Code and On Hold Reason must still be updated one Visit at a time.
In the case of On Hold Reason, it is recommended to set the entire Service to On Hold if several Visits must be edited.
Searching Profiles by Partial ID
It is now possible to search for Client Profiles by typing only a part of their ID, instead of entering the full ID.
To find a Client, start typing their Alayacare ID starting with the first non-0 character.
The Live Dashboard has a new and improved look, for better visibility and per-user customization options.

The AC Client ID is now an option in Report Metrics. See Dashboard>Reports>Metrics>Create New.
Default Employment Type Setting
It is now possible to set a default Employment Type for all Employees.
