Organizations in Ontario may benefit from Alayacare's Intake functionality to automatically retrieve Offer and Referral information from their local LHINs, which they can then process directly in the software to add/update Client Profiles or Services.
Offers/Referrals are polled every few minutes.
Please note: LHIN Offers, Referrals, and other updates processed in the HPG portal will not flow into AlayaCare.
Set up Integration for LHIN Intake
- Speak with your Client Success Manager so that your environment is configured to receive LHIN Offers/Referrals from your sources.
- In Settings>All Settings>Features, make sure the flags LHIN Integration and Alayacare Intake are both ON.
Configure your preferences for Intake at the system level.
The following KPIs relate to Offers/Referrals:
- Pending Offers
- Soon to Expire Offers
- Pending Referrals
Offers contain minimal information about the Client, especially excluding any PHI.
Accepting an Offer does not create/update any Client or Service information in the system.
Whenever new Offers are received while you are in the Client Intake tab, a blue notification will appear.
Once you have accepted an Offer, you will receive at least one Referral for it.
Processing the Referral can create a new Client and Service, create a new Service for an existing Client, or update an existing Client and/or Service.
View Referral Information on the Service
Once Referrals have been processed, their information is auto-populated in the relevant Service and Client Profile, depending on how you have configured Intake in System Settings.
