You can optimize the quality of the invoices you print from AlayaCare by making custom adjustments to certain elements and settings when printing.

Invoice Logo Specs and DPI

The dimensions and format of your agency's Invoice Logo can affect how it is rendered when the invoice is printed. Listed below are the ideal specs for your agency logo so that it appears correctly on the printed invoice:

  • Width: 300 px
  • Height: 110 px
  • Format: JPG or PNG

If you use PNG as the format, make the background transparent. If you use JPG, make the background white.

You can also change the image DPI (Dots Per Inch, meaning printer dots per inch) of your invoice logo to improve the quality for printing. The recommended DPI for your logo image is 300 DPI

To upload an invoice logo to AlayaCare with the recommended dimensions and format, go to Settings>Agency Information>Logos and click the icon to select a file to upload.

Google Chrome Printing Margins

If you are printing an invoice directly from Google Chrome, click to open More Settings and change the Margins from Default to Custom. Next, manually adjust the margins to best fit your invoice. The recommended dimensions for Margins are shown below (Top: 0.22'', Bottom: 0.06'', Sides: 0.11'').

Once you have set up custom printing margins, they will be used as the default margins when printing all future documents.

PDF Printing

For the best printing results, download the invoice to your computer as a PDF and select Fit as the Page Size when printing.
