If you are an administrator, you can use the Care Plan related settings in System Settings to adjust the Care Plan module to match your agency's standards and preferences.
To begin, go to Settings > System Settings > Care Documentation.
Refer to the below three settings, which are about Care Plan Diagnoses.
If you do not want to use Diagnoses on Client Care Plans, use the dropdown to select Off in the Care Plan Diagnoses field.
Use the Care Plan Diagnosis Naming and Care Plan Diagnoses Naming fields if you would like to use a different term for Diagnoses on Client Care Plans. Enter the singular term you would like to use in place of Diagnosis in the Care Plan Diagnosis Naming field. Enter the plural of the term in the Care Plan Diagnoses Naming field.
Refer to the three settings below on Care Plan Goals.
If you do not want to use Goals on Client Care Plans, use the dropdown to select Off in the Care Plan Goals field.
Use the Care Plan Goal Naming and Care Plan Goals Naming fields if you would like to use a different term for Goals on Client Care Plans. Enter the singular term you would like to use in place of Goal in the Care Plan Goal Naming field. Enter the plural of the term in the Care Plan Goals Naming field.
Refer to the three settings below on Care Plan Interventions.
If you do not want to use Interventions on Client Care Plans, use the dropdown to select Off in the Care Plan Interventions field.
Use the Care Plan Intervention Naming and Care Plan Interventions Naming fields if you would like to use a different term for Interventions on Client Care Plans. Enter the singular term you would like to use in place of Intervention in the Care Plan Intervention Naming field. Enter the plural of the term in the Care Plan Interventions Naming field.
The next two fields allow you to define the list of Care Plan Goal Types and Intervention Types that will be available to users when adding Goals and Interventions to a Care Plan. Enter the list of Types in the order you wish them to appear (one Type per line) in the comment boxes.
In the Default Goal Progress Tracking Method field, choose whether you wish to choose None, Percentage, or Per Visit with Comments as the Progress Tracking Method that will be selected by default when adding Goals to Care Plans.
In the Time Tracking On Care Plan Interventions field, choose whether you wish to enable tracking time spent on Interventions by selecting On or Off.
If your agency is using Automated Provider Reports (APRs), select which Goal Type should be used to populate Goals on APRs from your agency's list of Goal Types in the Goal Type Used to Populate Goals Into APRs dropdown.
When you have finished making changes to the System Settings, click Save.
