Care Plan Libraries allow you to define standard templates to use in the creation of individual Client Care Plans. Care Plan Libraries follow a similar structure to a Care Plan and can be composed of Diagnoses, Goals, and Interventions.
Add a Care Plan Library
To create a new Care Plan Library, go to Settings>Libraries and select +Add Care Plan Library.
In the dialogue box, enter the name of the Care Plan Library you are creating. Then click Save.
The Care Plan Library will open as a Draft.
Click the button to add Diagnoses, Goals, and Interventions. Learn more about adding Diagnoses, Goals, and Interventions to Care Plan Libraries.
If you need to update the name of the Care Plan Library, click the Edit button.
In the dialogue box, edit the name as needed and then click Update to save your changes.
Publish a Care Plan
When you are ready to publish the Care Plan Library, click Publish. Publishing a Care Plan Library changes the status to Active so it can be used in defining a Client Care Plan.
In the dialogue box, click Publish to confirm.
The status of the Care Plan Library will change to Active and will be available for selection when creating Client Care Plans.
Note that once you publish a Care Plan, you will no longer be able to remove individual Care Plan items. However, you will still be able to edit them.
