A Bill-To Party (BTP) represents a single Client-Funder (or Facility-Funder) combination where the Funder is Type Funder Individual or Client Individual. The Bill-To Party is created the first time an invoice is generated for a Funder.
The Bill-To Party List in the Accounting menu allows you to view all the Funders for your Clients in one place and search and filter by different attributes, including Customer Reference Number (CRN). You can also create a BTP Reference, which can be used as the Reference ID when uploading Bulk Payments.
To view the Bill-To Party List, go to Accounting>Bill-To Parties.
Search and Filter on the Bill-To Party List
The Bill-To Party List displays the Client Name, Client Last Name, Client Status, Funder, Funder Status, Billing Contact, CRN, BTP Reference, and Branch (if your organization is multi-office). Facility names will appear in the Client Name column.
The CRN is a unique reference number that is created for the Client when draft invoices are generated.
The BTP Reference field displays any details that have entered by users for that Bill-to Party. To add or edit the BTP Reference, click the Edit button.
Enter text in the field and then click Save.
By default the list will be filtered to show Active Clients only. To adjust the filters, click the icon.
Use the available filters to search by Client, Client Status, Funder(s), Funder Status, Billing Contact, CRN or BTP Reference, Branch, Groups, or Client Tags.
