The Background Jobs list in Dashboard>Background Jobs allows you to view and manage all Background Jobs in AlayaCare from one place.
To view the Background Jobs tab, you must be in a role configured with the View Background Jobs ACL. To perform actions on Background Jobs from this list, you must be in a role with the Manage Background Jobs ACL.
To view the Background Jobs list, go to Dashboard>Background Jobs.
In the Background Jobs list, you will see all Background Jobs listed by ID, Type (Accounting Export, Claims, Invoices, LHIN, Payroll, or Statement), Subtype (for example, Generation or Run for an Accounting Export Type job), Queued by (the Employee who started the job), Queued on (the date the job was queued), Started on (the date the job began), Ended on (the date the job finished), Number of Items Processed for the job, Status (Queued, Started, Finished, Failed, or Cancelled), and Branch (if your agency is multi-office).
You can filter this list by ID, Type (Accounting Export, Claims, Invoices, LHIN, Payroll, or Statement), Queued by, Branch, Queued on, Started on, Ended on, and Status (Queued, Started, Finished, Failed, or Cancelled). For Queued on, Started on, and Ended on, enter a date range in the From and To fields.
If you filter by job ID, the search will also return any previous runs of the job if it is a a re-run of a previous Background Job.
The original job will be indicated in a tooltip.
The actions that can be performed on Background Jobs will be displayed in the last column of the list. Available actions for Background Jobs may include View, Cancel, Re-Run, or Email. If the name of the export is displayed in the column, clicking the button will either download the file or open it as a PDF.
