Once the agency adds you as a user to the client's family portal, you will receive an email with your username and a temporary password to log on to the portal. When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password.
Choose which type of device you are accessing the family portal from:
Log in/out of the family portal (computer/tablet)
To access the family portal, enter the AlayaCare family portal URL that has been provided to you by the agency (for example, https://caringhands.alayacare.ca/familyportal) in your Chrome or Safari web browser.
The first time you log in to the family portal, you should enter the login credentials that you received by email in the Email and Password fields.
Upon first logging in, you will be prompted to change your password to a secure, unique combination that is 8 characters or longer and contains contains at least 1 lowercase and uppercase letter, at least one number, and at least one special character (@, #, $, %, etc.) Once you have created your password, click Submit Password.
Use the password you created to log in to the portal each time you need to access the portal. If you forget your password, select Forgot Password?

To log out of the family portal, click the picture icon under your name and select Sign Out.

To log out of the family portal, click the hamburger icon in the top left corner.
Tap Sign Out.
