When configuring bill codes and pay codes, you will have the option to set rounding rules for calculating the approved time during the visit verification process.
AlayaCare's engineering team must first enable the VV feature for your organization before you can use these features. Please send your request to your Account Manager.
Roles and permissions
To configure EVV specific features in accounting settings, you need to access the Accounting> Edit accounting settings ACL (permission).
Setting rounding rules for bill codes
In the bill code configuration screen, a rounding rules section will appear after selecting per hour under units.
From scheduled time, select clocked time- total duration or clocked time-start and end for the rounding rule to determine the approved time during visit verification.
If you select scheduled time, choose to include or exclude breaks.
If you select either of the clocked time options, you must select a rounding method. The available selections are no rounding, round up, round down, or round to the nearest.
When the Clocked time – Start and End Times is selected, you will see a checkbox labeled "During Verification, auto-update adjusted times with rounding start and end time". This option automatically updates the values in the Work session summary to the rounded times, which will ensure that end values are always rounded to properly display on EVV exports, invoices, and etc, whenever you click on "Approve" within the failed verification tab.
If you select round down, round up, or round to the nearest, you must also select a rounding increment (5, 10, 15, 30, or 60).
