A Look is a report in Data Exploration based on a specific query created using different fields and filters from a specific Explore. You can view Looks created by your organization by selecting an Explore and going to the agency-wide Group folder in Data Exploration. Looks that you have created and saved will be found in your Personal folder.
To open a Look in Data Exploration, select an Explore.
Go to the icon and select the name of the Look under Looks that you wish to open. Use the icons on the right to navigate between the Personal, Group and Shared folders.
When you first open a Look, you will see the visualization selected for the Look. The filters in place will be the filters configured by the user who originally created the Look.
Select the gear icon to view actions available to perform from the Look. Depending on your permissions, you may be able to edit the Look, save the Look under a new name (Save As), save the Look to a dashboard, merge results from the Look with a query in a different Explore, download the visualization or table, or clear the cache and refresh the results to ensure you are seeing the latest data.
If you wish to dig deeper into the data, select Explore from Here. You will then be able to add and remove your own dimensions, measures, and filters to learn more about the dataset.
When you are finished exploring the data, you have the option to save your changes as a new Look.
