Feature Overview: AlayaCare Assessments

In spring 2021, AlayaCare acquired AcuteNet, a company that specializes in interRAI assessments and enables flexible clinical assessments. AcuteNet is for home and residential care agencies that utilize interRAI assessment tools to submit clinical assessments. 

The interRAI Comprehensive assessment is a holistic assessment that allows the evaluation of the needs, strengths, and preferences of an individual. As part of completing the assessment, calculated outputs including Clinical Assessment Protocols, Outcomes Scales, and Case-Mix classification are automatically generated.

Once an assessment is performed, one of the outputs is a Clinical Assessment Protocol (CAP), used by the care team to support their decisions related to the care plan being put in place. The tool helps agencies optimize operations, reduces compliance risks, and improve reporting efficiency while continue to deliver quality care.

interRAI instruments are designed to be compatible across health sectors. This improves continuity of care, promotes a person-centered approach, and improves the organization’s capacity to measure clinical outcomes. interRAI instrument systems collect information once and use it for multiple purposes to support clients/patients, care professionals, managers, and administrators.
