Configuring a Custom Medication Library

A Custom Medication Library lets users search and add medications to the client’s Medication profile from the "Add Medication" page. Custom medication libraries can be created by importing a .csv file or created manually. 

ACLs Required

The following ACLs must be selected in order to configure a custom medication library. Navigate to the Customer folder under Settings>Roles and Permissions and select these ACLs:

  • View Medication Libraries- All Clients
  • Edit Medication Libraries - All Clients

Creating a Library

To create a library, navigate to Settings->Libraries->Medications tab and select Add library button.

Users can add a custom medication library either by importing a CSV file or by creating one manually. Refer to the following two articles for more information.

View a library

To view a library, click on the library name, then navigate to the Library page.

Your custom library will display with its default list of medications, starting with those whose statuses are listed as "Active", as shown below.

To review archived items under your custom medication library, change the status to Archived and click on "Apply criteria". The same step applies if you wish to filter and review other items based on their Codes, Medication, Drug families or Drug information numbers.

To clear your selection, click on "Clear criteria" to clear all the selections and any library results.
