The Form Draft feature allows a user to create, edit, review and delete form drafts directly from both the web app, and the careworker mobile app. Please note that this article refers to prompts and sequences for using this feature on mobile, and they are the same for both Android and iOS.
Create, Edit, or Delete a Form Draft
From the Schedule screen, select the visit and clock in.
Once that is complete, head to Service Tasks. Select a form, begin completing, and tap "Close" if you wish to save a form draft. Drafts are also saved locally on the device. Tapping on "Submit" will finalize the form instead.
When tapping to close or tapping on "X" on the top left of the screen, users will be prompted to save the form draft.
When this is complete, if the user heads back to the Service Tasks screen, there will be an updated status indicating that a draft has been created.
To edit or delete a form draft, head to Care Delivery > Forms > Form Drafts, as shown on the image on the left below. You will then see a list of current drafts and more details associated to each draft. The three dots next to each draft will open up to more options associated to the draft.
Signing Out and Other Prompts
Please note that updated screenshots will soon be available.
To Sign Out, users are to tap on "Sign Out" on the left pane of the careworker app. A message will appear informing the user of any drafts stored locally that have not been saved to the web. Selecting Cancel will bring the user back to the application. Selecting Logout will present the user with another message, indicating the number of unsubmitted drafts that will be permanently lost if they choose to logout.
Selecting Yes, Delete and Logout will log the user out from the application, and delete any unsubmitted drafts. Cancel will bring the user back to the application.
⚠️ Unsubmitted drafts are not deleted when the application times out. Drafts are only deleted upon an explicit logout by the user.
*Please note that in the event of an error during the save, or submission process, a warning and status indicator will be presented to the user. Some common issues that result in error are a lack of internet connection, and/or a form validation error.
