Improvements to the global search
AnsweredIt would be REALLY nice if when using the global search, the active accounts showed on the results before the inactive accounts. Most times we are using the global search to search for active clients, caregivers and contacts. Sometimes the inactive people show at the top. for example, if I type the name Mary right now in my environment, the first 9 results are all connected to previous clients (even though we have quite a few active "Mary's" at any given time!) It would also be super helpful if clients, caregivers and contacts all showed a little bit different in the global search - perhaps a different coloured background or different coloured font. these slight changes could help us navigate our site much better.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for all this feedback. I've had a chance to speak to our product team and it is a known issue that the global search and profile management functions are in need of an overhaul. Unfortunately, due to capacity issues, these improvements are not on the roadmap for the coming quarter. However, the team has been made aware that there is a lot of interest in improving these features so it's definitely something that's on their radar for the future.

Came in today to add a similar suggestion so I will add to this thread.
It would be helpful to possibly prioritize client names in the search results so they appear first then client contacts after.
Here is an example of a Dr. who is a client contact of may of our clients, there is a client with similar name that we can't access from the search bar because the results return only the Dr's name.

Agree all the search tools need some work, they need better filters, search strings etc. They are also very laggy, - searching on a reliable unique identifier like the AC number takes ages to return findings, when logically this should be the quickest results return. Would love to see this bumped up in the development backlog.
