Is it possible to request that the NPI # for the Physician/ Provider Contact be one of the fields that updates/shares across all other patients? For example, if I update the address or license # for a particular patient, it will update for any other patient he/she is attached to. But the NPI # has to be added/updated every time the MD is added to a new patient. The MD’s NPI will never change, so it would be nice to just add it once and not have to repeat it every time we attach the MD to a new patient.

Hi all,
I wanted to circle back to you on this. I spoke with the team and unfortunately there is no way of taking a value from one profile (i.e. taking the MD information from one client profile) and automatically apply it across other profiles.
I'm going to keep note of this request to see if this is something we can manage in future because I can definitely see how it would be very useful to you all.

This would be helpful for us as well. I'm always nervous when re-typing it in each time that I will transcribe it incorrectly, which will affect our claims. We would love it if the NPI number could "stick" to a physician / medical practitioner. Likewise, when doing 485's, we have to enter our NPI number everytime, from certification period to certification period, and this number will not ever change either so it would be nice for it to auto-populate (with an option to edit it still, for those providers who might have more than one NPI number associated with them like we do.)
