Remove ability to Delete Tasks with no audit trail
Tasks represent an activity that is required to be carried out, - currently tasks can be deleted without providing any audit trail that a task used to exist, this allows error or rogue activity to occur with no knowledge or visibility. It would be safer to allow tasks to be closed or archived, but not to be totally erased.

You can create an audit trail of sorts in DE. It's not ideal, but you can see in the 2nd line below the task was created by 1 person on 2022-01-31 and then updated (to closed status) by a different person on 2022-02-01. (Compared to first row where the task status hasn't changed from it's initial creation)
This doesn't give you the why - we "control" for the why procedurally (in that closed = action taken, rejected = I can't action this and we don't allow use of any other status').

Thanks Jan, that's useful to know. Of course that could help with retrospective analysis by users with skills to use DE, but it doesn't help the average Support worker 'in the moment' who is trying to understand what has happened.
Really appreciate you responding to this.
