Issue:

You may experience delays in invoice generation jobs, resulting in jobs remaining in a queued status for longer than the usual 1-3 minutes.

Key points:

Be aware that traffic can impact job processing times. During peak periods, such as month-end, delays may occur more frequently.

Solution:

1. Check job status

Monitor the status of the invoice generation jobs in your background jobs list. If a job is stuck in a queued status for an extended period, take note of the Job ID.

2. Evaluate other jobs

Ensure there are no other large jobs ahead in the queue that might be causing the delay. If necessary, check the completion times of other jobs to understand the typical processing speed.

3. Allow time for processing

Wait for approximately 20 minutes after the job was triggered. This timeframe allows for potential processing delays due to system traffic or shared resources.

4. Escalate if needed

If the job remains queued past 20 minutes, consider escalating the issue for urgent attention. Provide the Job ID to Client Experience team (Support) for monitoring.
